Abundance

Summer is slowly coming to an end and the temperatures will hopefully be cooling down soon. We have been enjoying the abundance of fresh vegetables from our garden and strawberries too. There is nothing tastier than biting into a fresh tomato warmed by the sun. Our zucchini, green beans, scallions and brightly colored bell peppers fill our plates every day.
It is my prayer for you that each of you will always have a full plate of good things to eat.

#1 Burpless Cucumber, Hybrid Cucumber, Zucchini Bell Peppers
#2 Tomato, Purple Bell Pepper, Green Bell Pepper,
#3 Green Beans
#4 Lemon Cucumber in my husband’s hand
#5 Armenian Cucumber

I am so in love with fresh veg and fruit. However, I did get a little tired of peaches. We ate a little too much giggle.

Fortunately for me, our grocery store has an abundance as well.

I totally want a purple bell pepper. We've seen red, yellow, orange and green, but no purples.

Like you I am enjoying abundance from our garden, with tomatoes, blackberries, strawberries, rainbow chard and more. I am jealous of your bell peppers and cucumbers, they don't do well here, not enough heat and sun.

My green bean plants are suddenly producing again and I am loving it. I've still got lots of tomatoes coming on, too. You have to enjoy it while you can. :)

Lovely. We've been enjoying our tomatoes, when the chipmunks and squirrels don't get them first!

Aren't home garden tomatoes just the best. It is so sad to have to go buy some from the store when the season is over... they just don't taste the same. Great blog!
