A Few Random Thoughts

Random thoughts bounced through my mind this morning as I sipped my hot cup of tea. Both good and bad they made their way in and hung out for a while.  I'm posting them today, feel free to add your responses and your own random thoughts.

It's Martin Luther King Day, we celebrate an amazing man with a vision for our world to live in peace.

Love can be felt through the internet, it has great power.

I wonder how all of the victims in Arizona and their families are doing. I know our prayers, love and light are felt by them.

Does anyone read my tweets?

Are flowers in the bathroom a weird thing to do?

The first kiss in the morning from my sweet husband is the best way to start the day.

Hot tea makes me smile.

A hug can make an entire day of yucky dissolve in an instant.

Someone ( anonymous) left a negative comment on my blog the other day ( I deleted it)
Why did they have to leave it as anonymous?

The Golden Globes need to rethink the way they place the tables so the winners don't have to go through a maze to get to the stage.

When did shoulder pads come back?

I pray my two youngest grandchildren will feel better soon.

Thank you God for all the blessings in my life.

I think I'll blog these thoughts, I love my blog community.

Now, I need more tea............

Reminds me to be thankful too for all blessings great and small. For instance, a cup of piping hot tea made by my darling hubby..:D

nice random thoughts... thought you should know that the same 'anon' commented on my blog with the same comment about the photo you used... I guess they're pretty pissed off about something but I chose to ignore it... I guess this blog community has its ups and downs... such is life eh?

Kathrine, sorry someone left a rude anonymous comment, at least they could own up..still. And shoulder pads came back?? Were they at the Golden Globes? Oh no!! I don't need any more padding to my body, thank you very much! I love how our woman minds work, here, there and every where. Thanks so much for following my blog, I look forward to doing the same with yours:)

Oh, I LOVE your random thoughts. I'm so sorry that you received on of those horrid Anonymous emails. Aren't they awful? Grr...

Well, here's a big huggy comment to make you feel all better!

I also love your random thoughts and so many we can apply to our daily lives as well. I think I can speak for our blogging family saying we love you too and are happy when you have a post for us.

Shoulder pads are back? My wife claims they were designed as a weight-loss program for those who didn't want to put forth effort. (Large shoulders draw away from large hips, making one look thinner.)

I love random thoughts, and I love it even more when they circle back around, lol! Are shoulder pads back, and why didn't I get the memo? Although, I did buy a new jacket last weekend and now that you mention it, it had shoulder pads...Hmm

So many thoughts. My mind does this a lot. There is no time in our life for negative comments.

Good morning!

I'm thinking some of the same thoughts.

When DID shoulder pads come back? And why?

NO, absolutely not...flowers in the bathroom is good. Flowers anywhere are good.

Whey people feel the need to be hurtful and then do it as anonymous is cowardly.

It's cold and dreary here today. We only played tennis for one hour before the rain came.

Snuggling in now.
Hugs,
Kat

If those were random thoughts, I'm really impressed! :-) Mine would be something like: Why don't they tell youif you're watching LIVE tennis in Australia, or last night's tennis today...because of the time difference?!...When did emerald green and hot pink come back in style?!...Is it me, or is the world's mean spiritedness starting to feel "normal" to young people?!...and How big does a foot have to be to be considered "Gy-Normous"?! {I'm working on some custom ordered slippers...sorry. :-]}

Shoulder pads are back? Oh no! I LOVE flowers in the bathroom! And grrrr to whoever posted the negative comment. Your thoughts are beautiful!

Fun random musings and a good idea for a post.

What a lovely post. My mind wanders like that. A man I worked with once told me I had a mind like a butterfly. He wasn't being complimentary! I hope shoulder pads never come back. Mind you I never thought wedge heels would either so what do I know!

People shouldn't be allowed to comment anonymously. Can we stop them?

Hey there!!!
I absolutely agree with you that love can be felt on the Internet. I've made some really wonderful friends that I've meant on hear.

Flowers in the bathroom?? Love it, Have them!!

Hot tea, more hot tea, and a whole lot more hot tea!!! Right up my alley!!

And now for my most important part of this message...when I went to like you on fb via your widget on your blog..it said that someone had probably hacked in and was trying to steal my identity, passwords, etc....not sure if it's coming from your end or mine...but I DEFINITELY wanted to tell you about it.

If I could afford it, I would have fresh flowers in every room of the house. Including bathrooms!

I have fresh flowers in the bathroom and I think it's a perfect place. My random thought is wondering why someone that has a business through blogging doesn't reply to an inquiry to give them more business. Now it that random or what? :) This is my first visit to your blog and it is lovely. :)

Fresh flowers and kisses and hugs are always good.

I'm thankful for the same things and also am thinking of the families now that the chaos is settling down. I hope there are people there to raise their spirits and dry their tears.

And I'm so sorry someone hurt your feelings. I enjoy your blog and am enjoying getting to know you.

XO,

Sheila :-)

Randomness is wonderful!

Hugs can make everything feel so much better!

The table placement at the Golden Globes needs work, people could barely squeeze through to pass by!

Shoulder pads are coming back? Shudder!

Hope your grandbabies feel better really fast!

Anonymous negative comments are cowardly!

I love this random thought post.
I'm reading this with my afternoon coffee...decaf.
Today it is snowing and it's beautiful.
I have had two days of mean comments on my facebook page...why do people feel the need to hurt others?
I wish I could give you a hug, Katherine.
You have a friend in me.
God Bless my blogging friends.

As I type this to you today Katie, I have a Gardenia blossom beside me which Cpt. V procured lovingly from our garden last night. It's fragrance is divine and I'm thinking that we need to plant more flowering shrubs.

What better place to display them than in the bathroom reflected in the mirror and filling the space with their heady delight.

I wish you a wonderful week ahead and most definitely better health for those you love,

Felicity x

I agree about the Golden Globes, it's just nuts. As for the negative comment, no guts to say who it was if you ask me. It's so easy to be negative if nobody knows it's you!

Great thoughts...a great mind!

I had someone leave me a mean comment this week too. I don't really care that they were trying to make a fool of me--I just want to know who did it and why. It is driving me crazy!!! It was a very elaborate hoax and I'm wondering who would stoop that low.

I installed a sitemeter today--hate to do that. UGH!

I like your random thoughts. :)

Dee said...

I say fresh flowers can go any place at any time...and boo to the anonymous commenter...who could possibly find any thing negative about your blog? Your list of randomness is impressive...mine would be much shorter. Blessings. Dee

I like your random thoughts! Too bad about the anonymous comments, I guess they think it's easier to hide. It's one thing to give constructive criticism, but meanness is unacceptable. I just finished a cup of tea, it was French vanilla, it was delicious! I highly recommend it! I hope you have a wonderful week! Thank you for visiting my blog today!

I don't get why people leave rude comments! If you don't like what you see, then just close the page!

But you left the sweetest comment on my blog and I wanted to thank you for that! :)
And I feel honored to be in your favorites section!

Thank you for making my day!

Wonderful post! Random thoughts are so telling at times. Yours reveal a kind and loving soul.

As a side not - I love putting flowers in my bathroom simply because flowers make me smile.

Love the mind download. It is nice to know that I am not the only one with questions swirling around up there.Flowers are a welcome sight anywhere. I pray your grandchildren are fine as well. The world is full of negative people perhaps you hit a nerve they did not like. It is okay perhaps it was a catalyst for change. Let it go you have a great blog.
