I thought this would be fun. I've listed a few things about me from high school. I loved going to school, it was my sanctuary. I was a sponge, I still am. I loved learning!
I'm hoping you will list a few things you remember from high school too.
Okay here goes....
I didn't belong to any one particular group of friends. I was friends with everyone. The brains, the jocks, the parking lot crew, the quiet ones, the loud ones, the artists and the theater crowd.
I took college courses while in high school.
I created artwork for the school magazine.
I never bought lunch from the cafeteria.
I used to speak French, Spanish and Turkish
I loved classic films and jazz music
I took extra credit courses during the summer. One year I spent three weeks recording deer droppings for the wildlife resources department!
Yes that's my high school graduation photo! Okay now its your turn!

Beautiful photo and see, I was right, you ARE clever. Unfortunately, I don't look back on my school days so fondly, and find that I have learnt much more since leaving school than I ever did in it!!
This Picture is so awesome, LOVE the hair, Look at all that light coming out of you, I was friends with everyone too, no one group. but I didn't feel like I loved High school as much as college. That is where I felt my best. Love this post it brings back good memories. hugs Anne

Such a lovely girl! I love learning about my bloggy friends. I was friends with a mixed lot which is why I have tons of high school friends on Facebook..lol!
Deanna :D
High school was okay for me. I was mostly a wallflower.
Fun post! I enjoyed learning more about you! There would be NO WAY I would post my high school picture. Yours is lovely though!
Nice photo. It looks familiar. I graduated around the same time! I was on the basketball team, in the honor society, and took nursing. I also was in with the popular crowd, even though I didn't do a lot of the things, or go a lot of the places they did. I 'had it like that'....personality! LOL Although the first part of High School I spent looking at my shoes...deathly shy!...Great post!
Look at gorgeous you!! Thanks for sharing this - it is fun getting to know you better!
Lovely post, thanks for popping by my blog. I am now following you through google and facebook. karima

Guess this means you've "always" had it "goin' on". I'm not the least bit familiar with that. LOL!
What a cute photo! My high school pics aren't nearly so gorgeous!
No doubt why the popular guys were asking you out Katie. You were and still are a beautiful woman with a very lucky husband. I also enjoyed the post from back in 09.
Like Thisisme my desire for knowledge came after high school & I love watching documentaries and game shows that challenge my mind like Jeopard & Wheel of Fortune. I was very quiet in school & didn't even start dating until my junior year and then only because my best friend pushed me into it and even found me the blind date. I rode my bicycle into town which was about 1 mile to see my first movie at a walk in theater. Cost me 50 cents to see Yul Brenner in The Magnificent Seven. I still love that movie.

This is an awesome post! Thanks for sharing!
What a beauty you are/were!! Spent a summer recording deer droppings?? Too funny! I'll have to tell you all my summer high school jobs sometime...yours are beter!!
Well..first of all, I certainly didn't even come close to looking like that in high school..nor did I accomplish all that much. I spent it daydreaming of when I could get out and start my life.
My Senior picture was hidious!
High school was not my days of glory..I guess you could say mine came later. :)
This was just the cutest post...and..I love the button you made for Desiree! Simply beautiful!!
Congratulations on your 1500 followers! That's fantastic! :)
Oh..wait...there is something. I had the cutest, best looking guy in school and that's the honest truth. I had him for 43 years. This was the best thing about high school. Meeting him.
Your photo is beautiful! I didn't belong to any particular group either and had a lot of friends from all "crowds". I loved school and learning and wish there was a way I could make a living by taking classes now. Of course they'd have to only be what I am interested in. ;-)
Lovely picture, and that's very interesting about not being a part of any particular crowd. I prided myself on the same thing, still do. I like being friends with a variety of people with different interests.
I think bloggers tend to do that, or at least the ones I know do.
XO,
Sheila :-)
