Resolutions Schmezalutions

Every year I make them, and every year I break them. So, this year no resolutions!
Instead I’ll just keep trying to…..
get rid of my menopause middle,  and
I will continue to express positive optimism.
I will continue to try and worry less.
I will continue to try and write more.
I will continue to try and wear more shoes with laces instead  of my slip ons or clogs.
I will continue to greet each new day with gratitude.
I will continue to limit my cups of tea to three.
I will continue to use, instead of look at, my elliptical machine.
I will always work at creating the best blogs, shops and websites I can.
I will continue to do the things that make me smile
I will continue to extend my hand in friendship to all who will receive it.
So, I resolve, to not make any resolutions, what about you?………

I'm with you! I have nothing specific other than to finish the things I've already started!

That's the resolution I made last year - not to make any resolutions - and I must say, it's the first time I've ever been able to keep my resolution!
This year, though, I resolve to be...oh I can't tell you yet, because it's a secret! But stay tuned to my blog next week, when I tell everyone all about it!

Like yourself, mine are a series of growth patterns I aspire for on a daily basis. I stopped adding more years ago. Happy New Year to you.

One year I made a resolution that I kept. Just cleaning different parts of the house that don't normally get cleaned....washing the rugs one month, moving the furniture the next month, and then wiping down the door and window frames the next month. I only did one of each per month...in addition to the rest of the stuff I did..........I might do that again this year.

Mine is kind of general in nature. I had a pretty good holiday season and want to carry that spirit into 2011. I want to be sensitive to the needs of others & be ready to help whenever I can.

I agree! No resolutions for me, either! I live according to the quote, "New Years resolutions go in one year and out the other". :) Besides, I really need to finish up the things I started in 2010. I don't need anymore to do! :)
